Rough HPHT/CVD

Synthetic diamonds are grown in strictly controlled laboratory conditions using advanced technological processes that duplicate the conditions  which diamonds grow naturally in the mantle of the earth's crust. These grown diamonds are made up of real carbon atoms located in the characteristic diamond crystal structure. Since they are made of the same material as natural diamonds, they have the same optical and chemical properties.

Our laboratory-grown diamonds are now available in a wide variety of colors. Fancy color laboratory diamonds are sold at comparatively reasonable prices compared to counterparts made from natural diamonds.

  • Synthetic diamonds are also commonly known as HPHT diamonds or CVD diamonds, named after two popular synthetic diamonds manufacturing methods. HPHT stands for high-pressure high temperature, and CVD stands for chemical vapor deposition.

  • HPHT diamonds are created by growing diamond single crystals - a unique technology that allows you to achieve the unsurpassed characteristics of stones:

identity to natural diamonds. The equipment for this method is multi-ton presses that can develop pressures up to 5 GPa at 1500 ° C.

  • CVD method - chemical vapor deposition - when a plasma of carbon atoms is created above the substrate, from which the atoms gradually condense to the surface, forming a diamond.

  • LabGrown diamonds with the naked eye cannot be distinguished from natural ones, they are evaluated by the same indicators as precious stones: weight, cut, color, clarity. The performance of CVD and HPHT diamonds is confirmed by certificates from all world laboratories.
